Boston Trip Day 1

Day 1 of Boston was a half flights day and a half baseball game! We booked an overnight flight so that we were able to catch the first game of the Blue Jays vs Red Sox series. My family and I were pretty tuckered out by the time we got into our hotel room. Before we could lie down, we had to wait for the movie to pause filming to go inside the hotel. Yes, that’s right, a movie! Our taxi couldn’t even get up to the front doors. We had to get out onto the street and wait. The crew was incredibly nice and it was super cool seeing all of the equipment. Good hotel pick, Mom! While waiting, we saw the beautiful Tracee Ellis Ross and the amazing Jeffrey Wright. My sister clocked Jeffrey right away. We couldn’t stop talking about it the whole trip! It was a fun highlight!

After a little rest, we got our jerseys on, then began walking to the stadium. After the first game, we started taking the train but we honestly didn’t mind the 30-minute walk there! We’re a walking family so it was a great time to chat and talk about the game. But I digress, our seats for the first game were phenomenal! We were in the older section with the old seats so our butts did hurt a bit afterward but we were seated just off behind the plate. We had a great view of the players, the calls, and the in-field. Ate some classic stadium snacks and watched the Blue Jays win 9-3 against the Red Sox! Great start to the series! Took a couple of pictures in front of the field and the iconic Green Monster and then we called it a night.
