The final day! We had a couple of quick stops we wanted to do before heading to the airport. I didn’t take a ton of pictures this day so you get to just hear me talk! Read me talk? Anyway, we went to Target to look around and Robyn really wanted to get some Chipotle. I didn’t find a lot of interesting stuff there but it’s always a cool staple to stop by while in the States. Did you know that they have alcohol just out in the open? Wild! We left to go to Chipotle and to our surprise, they weren’t open. Google said they were but we thought that maybe they were just a bit late as there were a ton of people waiting outside with us. One man who was waiting even told us that they always open late. We took that as a “but they open eventually”. We waited quite a while watching others leave one by one. The guy who we talked to left and came back, but still nothing! Dad and I were starting to get hungry and we weren’t huge fans of Chipotle so we headed to Wahlburgers instead while Mom and Robyn were holding out hope. Eventually, they gave up and joined us. Wahlburgers was a pretty cool place to go to though! It was really good and the staff was awesome.
By that time, it was time for us to catch our train and bus to the airport. We got some Dunkin Donuts for supper and I ordered a frozen hot chocolate which I’ve enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask if I could substitute the milk in it for something dairy free. I could only enjoy about half of it and made my other family members drink the rest so I wouldn’t be too miserable on the flight home. I started reading my book, Serpent and Dove, and we traveled on another smaller plane to Toronto. This was an extremely long night of traveling and when we got to Pearson, I was so grateful to have some Subway. Could I have gotten it in the States? Yes, absolutely, but something about having a freshly made sandwich late at night after a long day of travel just hits differently. We all enjoyed a little bit of Subway and tried shooting our garbage in the trash cans from our seats. Dad was, of course, the best at this. We made it safely home and had such a good sleep! We were all so tuckered out but enjoyed the time we had together in Boston. Thank you so much for following along!
